  2. no but go see a doctor or take ur mind of that

  3. Here is a very helpful website. If you can't find answers there, try a doctor.

  4. Perhaps some counselling to see if you can be made more "laid back" might be a solution to your problem. You are not on your own in this, you would be surprised at how many very successful people suffer from the same anxieties, many of them in show business.

  5. i know you'll think this a dumb answer but first thing outta bed in the morning have 2 glasses of water on it's own.then 2 and a half hours after every meal have 2 glasses of water on it's own.it does wonders.same if you got a headache, have 2 glasses of water and watch your headache go away.

  6. Yes, anxiety impairs my ability to concentrate, focus, & function. I HATE the feeling!

  7. I to have anxiety, I have actually had it since i was five but of course didn't know what it was then. I have been having an anxiety attack for about the past week, where I worry about everything and the most stupid things. I can't sleep and feel like I'm freaking out all day. I actually went to the doctor about 3 days ago, and he gave me lexapro for depression and anxiety, and he also gave me xanax for the anxiety. I really recommend going to the doctor. I still freak out a little bit but I have seen a difference. Go get help.

  8. Everybody deals with stress and some anxiety in some form and to a point. If it's bad enough to affect your life and performance though, you may have to consult a physician. Doesn't sound like it's too bad for you though - you could probably deal with it by trying to pull yourself together or find relaxing activities like working out or whatever else may work for you.

  9. Yes - I have suffered anxiety. And anyone who has experienced anxiety attacks knows how horrible they are - whether they last a moment or days (that's the depression).

Try to find an activity that makes you relax and something you enjoy doing. Even if it is a fishtank with a few guppies..

If it's becomming a problem causing interference in your everyday activities - (and if you are missing school it is doing just that), you could start by speaking tou your school guidance councellor. If you are still wanting more info go to a doctor or see a qualified therapist.

Most Important - If you haven't already, you need to have a chat with your parents or a close family friend about this as well.

  10. I know that feeling I've had it before, try talking to someone maybe a friend or a family member, someone that you trust, and even though there might not be anything wrong you'll still find out why your feeling anxious.

    Hope everything works out :)

  11. I havnt myself, but if you do think its a problem for you, then you should see a doctor and you can probably get some medication for it then you should hopefully feel better :)

  12. Oh yes! I take antidepressents now, but before I would get such high anxiety that I felt like someone was pushing down the accelerator hard in my head. I just wanted to hide in a dark closet and roll myself in a fetal position...didn't, but felt like it. Anxiety, usually caused from a lack of seratonin going to the ole brain leaves you literally drained, mind, body, and soul...therefore creating depression. Vicious little cycle. But good news is it's treatable and being a happier camper can be just one pill a day. I was such a skeptic about meds that it took this ole lady until her early forties to try em. Living like a nervious chichiuaua 24/7 is no more...thank goodness. I still get edgy and depressed on occassion, but the time is moments, not days on end!!!
