  3. I remember years ago, there is one guy who competes in javelin throw and track and field or jumping bars. Not sure though. I can barely remember it now.

  6. Only person i've ever heard of doing something similar to that (heard this today actually), was a british rower (Rebecca Romero) won silver in rowing in the Athens olympics four years ago and this year she's competing in the individual cycling.

    Apparently (if you read her lil website thing, it says if she wins a medal she'll be the second woman to win two olympics medals in two different sports... who that other woman is, i have no idea lol.

  8. Are you talking about an athlete competing in a single Olympics in two different sports or are you talking about an athlete competing in both Winter and Summer Olympics?

  10. Maybe not in the SAME Olympics but here's a story on a girl that competed in swimming in one Olympics, the triathlon in another (cycling, running & swimming) and is in the pentathlon this year (fencing, swimming, running, shooting & horseback riding).
