So, has anyone read any of these books? What did you think of them? These are some of my favourites. What are some of yours?

The only I've read from your list is Jane Eyre, which was amazing.

But then, I've never been one to read popular young adult stuff.

Edit: Not that I object to popular novels. After all, I write romance. I just seemed to skip the ya stuff and went from children's lit to classic and genre lit.

I'm half way through reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

I love the book, it fantastic!

I also saw the BBC1 drama Jane Eyre and it was also brilliant, I even have the DVD to it.  Thats what made me start reading it in the first place!

I have only read Jane Eyre but its one of my favourites. I first read it when I was 9 and have read it so many times in 40 years!

Yeah I've only read Jane Eyre too. The others sound like stuff by Danielle Steele.
