Look at the category. It's Antrhopology, not bad science fiction.

It is alternative history, i.e. fiction, about what might have beens that makes some far fetched assumptions. Might as well assume that Robert E. Lee's Army had AK-47s against Union muskets, but Harry Turtledove did that already.

There are a lot of altenative approaches and some of them are more intersting than oters. This one wasn't to my taste,but it's not serious to begin with.

Please note that HarryPotter books are in their own way alternative approaces to realit. Fantasy alternative worlds are fund, but don't get your reality buried in fiction.
