It's the best book I've ever read that deals with suicide.
I believe the first paragraph talks about what it's like to be so depressed that you want to die. I can remember showing it to people (a long time ago), and saying, "THis is what my depression feels like." I had never read anything that captured it so well. It is a book for those who think about suicide, live with someone who is suicidal, or has had a loved one attempt or commit suicide.
THere's a book written by Kathy Cronkit, the daughter of Walter, the former newscaster. It's called "On the edge of Darkness". It's out of print, but it can still be ordered through Borders bookstore.
