Has anyone ever really made money online??

if so let me know. someone was telling me awhile back that they were making $800 a month doing nothing but having some website up. is that possible can you really make money online

I knew someone who said he made $500.00 a month running a site and forum based on a game. He stopped running it though, because some of his members kept hacking it, and fighting online.

You might be able to build up to a nice, steady income, but don't expect a miracle shortly after you begin whatever you're trying to do to earn money with your computer. If becoming rich online were that fast and easy, then most of us with computers would be rich already, right? Right.

Also: don't pay anything for a program or scheme that you find online. These are typically scams, or something similar. You should not have to pay up front to work. You might have a cut taken from your earnings after you make them, but be sure that you're aware of this when you sign up for that program or whatever.

Web sites are a good source of advertising for businesses that are established. My company doesn't get hardly any hits on it's own. However, we are a retailer of sewing machines. people will go to the vender's site and find us through the dealer locator. They type in their zip code and up pops our site. We have done surveys and found out that 60% of our customers find out about us that way. Our reveinue is about a million a year which atributes about $600,000 of business through the web. Other people I've know who have internet omly businesses usually go bankrupt. If you open an internet based business you have to become a sponsor in order to pop up on the first page when a search is done, Google charges 40 cents a hit for that type of status. Otherwise you will be found on the 46th page.

i don't think that much. but there is some opportunity to earn money on internet. like, you can create your blog to earn money; you can join the social network to get paid etc. All are free to join.

It is very much possible as long as you are willing to take the time to set it all up. It can be a tough process but it pays off! There are many sites on the internet which will teach you methods for making money online, though most of them are nothing but scams.

So as I said: it is possible, but the success of the business depends on how much time you are willing to put into it(sometimes you can even luck out and really have to put minimal effort into it, but you shouldn't rely on pure luck). After you set up one site, or more and you get traffic to those sites, then it all gets easy, as it becomes almost an automated process.
