Has anyone ever received a telephone call where the Caller ID said, Unknown Name 09888?

03/17/08: I actually was home this time I received the call, I answered it and it was some guy with an accent that sounded like he was from India trying to scam me, it didn't work out too well because I couldn't hardly understand what he was scam he was using. I just told him that I was on the do not call list and that I would report him if he called again. I guess this is a new way for scammers to hide their identity.

Hi Harry T ,

That sounds like in might have been a glitch in the caller ID transmitted or reception issue. I have never personally had it happen. I get a lot of "Unknown Name" but not followed by a series of numbers.
