Has anyone ever scalped a ticket to the Master's at the gate?

Just wondering if showing up in Augusta wit a grand in my pocket if I could get in for a few hundred a day. Anyone ever done it?

There are tickets around in Augusta during the masters week. A scalper will charge a grand or more per day. You might be able to find some other fan in a hotel or bar that has an extra ticket for a couple hundred if you are super lucky. You can get practice round tickets pretty cheap if you just want to see the course, but it can be hard to figure out where the players are because they really don't follow a practice schedule.

You wont have any troubles finding people selling tickets.  I'm not sure what they go for on TH-Su.  I paid 80 dollars on the street for a Monday ticket.  Then it started raining and they closed the course for the rest of the day.  So to this day, I've still never been inside the gate.  :(
