This was years ago. When I was very young. I live in massachusetts and used to go to a place called Revere Beach. Back then we didn't know that it wasn't the best place to go swimming and later it was shut down for a while because of raw sewage contamination. I was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like that swimming in the water. They were completely flat, gray, shaped like an eye and they would sting your skin if they came in contact and attach. I can remember seeing hundreds in the water at one time. Were they some sort of parasite? Can anyone help? FYI I never went swimming in that beach again lol. Now I strickly swim in pools and tropical waters. It was a pretty notorious beach maybe if someone is from the Boston area they might know what I'm talking about as well?

Thanks.
