I was thinking about going to a hypnotist for personal reasons. I worry all the time, im giving myself and ulcer, I'm always worried about the future and where my life is heading and i dont just savour the here and now. i annoy my bf by constantly asking him when will you move near me , when will we get married etc. I'm constantly guilted by my family and it needs to stop.

I'm gonna start seeing a counsellor but I honestly don't think that will be enough, i have manifested this isn't a huge deal, I'm always sick, losing weight, crying constantly.

Do you think a hypnotist could help me overcome these feelings?

  1. I actually used self hypnosis to quit smoking. It's surprisingly simple.

Buy a book on the subject next time you're at the bookstore. Not only does it work, it's fun and relaxing.

But your problem is spiritual. Confess that you believe in Jesus as Christ and you'll have a holy spirit to work with.

  2. Well, there used to be someone at the Uni. trying to hypnotise me but I refused it by turning my heard away, because I had no confidence for this person and I think that’s it. If you have no confidence in this person it simply wouldn’t work out cos you don’t know so much about what’s going on during this time when you open up to strange person.

  3. I have not seen a hypnotist, but I have taken hypnosis training and I have used something akin to self-hypnosis.  For more information, see my blogs on Yahoo! I think meditation is also helpful, but it requires practice, as does self-hypnosis.  There are books you can buy on both subjects.  Also, I found Maxwell Maltz's Psycho-cybernetics helpful.  Peace.
