I know he is an urban legend, and apparently he escaped from Bullens Animal World. But has anyone ever seen him? Tell me your story.

  1. I remember hearing this story about 30 years ago, it is a good yarn, about the puma living in the Blue Mountains area, but it is untrue, there was however a big cat that did escape from Bullens animal world, but it was caught within about half an hour. (my father that was a policeman at the time was call there to help).

There was also suppose to be a escape of a big cat in the early 70's from a circus in penrith and this cat somehow made it to the blue mountains, it did happen which is kind of a shame.

There was people that spent a lot of time tracking the tiger / puma through the national park they claimed to have found footprints and animals that had been killed by the puma / tiger, some even thought   they saw it run in to the bush etc, no real evidence has ever been produced and no photos ever taken. and the reason is there is no evidence of a puma / tiger in the the National Park. If you want to go find it, good luck
