Has anyone ever sent their PS3 to Sony?

I sent mine in to Sony (Texas location) about a week ago and just got it back yesterday. It was still under warranty. They fixed the problem and I checked to make sure the serial number is still the same and it is. But the back and the bottom of the PS3 has like scratches and scuff water looking marks on it. I sent it to them with no scratches (I take good care of my investments) and I even stuck a sticky note on the PS3 when I shipped it to them saying "please no scratches". Some would say just deal with it but it wasn't my fault that the PS3 was defective and I sent my PS3 in with no scratches. It's only fair that I paid $400.00 for the d**n thing and I expect to receive it back the same way, unscratched and fixed. I sent an email to Sony last night and I'm waiting to hear from them. Has this ever happened to you? What was your experience? Thanks ahead of time

  1. This never happened to me but what i suggest you do is that, take a flashdrive put it in the ps3 save all ur memory and then send it back to them.  Then yell at them for a new one. And if they do send you a new one you can just put all the memory on it again.

  2. i have sent my ps3 back to sony (i live in canada so i sent it to b.c.) and when it came back it was fine.
