Has anyone ever shopped with 1001hitech.com? Are they a scam or too good to be true?

I have been hoping to buy a Digital camera without having to pay an arm and a leg for it, and I came upon the site http://1001hitech.com/index.html and I was wondering is this site is a scam. Any info would be very helpful and welcome.

Seems legit.  Try calling the toll-free number and verifying it.  If you pay with a credit card, you get protection.  Do a search on "WHOIS" to find out how long the website has been in operation.  It says they've been around since 2004.  Check it out.

I've never shopped there. However I checked it out real quick and during checkout I noticed the page was "verified by Equifax," which sounds good I guess? Regardless, I would NEVER give a lesser-known site like that my cred card number, so use paypal or something like that.

To be honest though, I wouldn't buy from there, just because I've never heard of them. I'd go for something well-known and secure like Amazon.com
