Question:

Has anyone ever stayed in/been to a wedding in The Strand Hotel in Ballyliffin, Co. Donegal?

I would appreciate any info on this hotel no matter how small. I have been onto the website but it isn't a great help. I need to know if it's nice/clean...possibly suitable for a wedding?

All answers would be helpful.

  1. the ballyliffin is so much nicer and so grand


  2. Was at the Strand for a wedding in '06.  Nice enough.  Very clean, small rooms.  Food was good.  But... the Ballyliffin Hotel and Spa is beautiful...

  3. Wow - I was there just yesterday. It's OK - not great I'm afraid. Try the Ballyliffen Lodge - much better!
