  1. dunno abt the FIAP.

but used to live in CIUP (cité internationale universitaire de paris)

    - it's soooooooo cheap, never find better in paris

    - metro very close (15 min far from notre-dame or chatelet-les halles)

    - great gardens, places to rest or sleep

    - main places for outdoor sport in paris

    - many other students from all parts of the world

    - many parties with these students

    BUT

    - quite far from bars or nightclubs if you dont go by metro or taxi.

well, the best place to live if you are a student and want to keep money.

  2. I have stayed at the Cite in July; I had a great two level apartment on boul. Jourdan in Maison du Canada.  I was there in the summer and it was actually a prof's resident.   Full kitchen and bath - open concept living room with a loft bedroom - it was great.  The Metro was closeby as well as a lovely park.  There are also smaller dorm rooms and I found the whole stay very pleasant.
