  1. I don't know if i was bulimic anorexic...probably a little bit of both. I did lose a lot of weight but after a certain point it stopped.  The constant binging and purging made me stay at a consistent weight that was normal for my height.  Then I would get into periods of anorexia and that was when I would lose the most weight.  It completely runs your life though and not worth the results.  It is also very unhealthy.  I had to go to the hospital for kidney stones from all the throwing up.  Please don't get into it!  I eventually sought help for my ed before it was too late and I'm so glad I did. It made me a sneak and a liar to people I really care about. So no it's definately not worth it!

  2. I hope you are not asking for tips, because you WANT an ED. Trust me, no you dont.

By the way, when you have  REAL eating disorder, you can't just stop. They stay with you, it's not a faddy diet, you cant just stop and start as you please. It doesn't work that way. Anyone who tells you it does, obviously has never had a real eating disorder.

If you want to loose weight, do it a healthy way. Are you aware ED's can kill? Sound fun now?

Edit: Of course it isn't worth it for god sake! Would you like me to go and ask my 16 year old friend, whos battled with anorexia for 5 years and weighs 4 stone? She's been told she wont make it past 20. Does it seem worth it now?

  3. First off, I have no idea why would would ask this question. Bulimia And Anorexia are very serious problems. And you can get very very sick, or even die from either of these.

I was anorexic all middle school years, And yeah I did begin to lose weight, but barley.. it would have been better for me to eat healthy then not eat at all.

I was so so so bad that my hair began falling out, and my nails were brittle and really bad.

oh not to mention my skin color was pale as pale could be even tho i tanned, my body was so weak.

if your thinkging about it, hope that helped. its notttttttttttt a good idea!

  4. I was bulimic in my early 20's.  I was very lethargic and bloated all the time. Essentially I was malnourished, yet I didn't look thin at all.  I lost a lot of muscle mass, and my face was always puffy (I looked a lot "fatter" than I really was - sort of like the fat Elvis).

Then I started eating lots of fruits and vegetables, and protein, (essentially eating good, nutritious foods) and started walking every night.  I eventually gained some muscle and lost the puffy look.  I'm actually A LOT smaller now that I feed my body and exercise, than I was when I starved my body of vital nutrients, and had no energy to do anything active.

Being bulimic does not create a s**y body - it creates a puffy, lethargic, pale and weak body.

Hope that sheds a bit of light on the nature of the illness.

  5. i am bulimic but i also have amnesia so i forget to throw up right away therefore i have not lost any weight i think I'm just gonna quit the bulimic thing it doesn't do me any good anyway.

  6. believe me. it is NOT worth it.

i started out by thinking it was simply a method to lose weight.

i thought once i wanted to stop, once i lost enough weight i would simply stop.

    but.

    its more complicated than that.

    its so serious.

    its an actual disease.

    its scary as h**l.
