Has anyone ever taken avelox?

I was put on avelox about 2 months ago for what the docor said was a sinus infection. It was one that was 1 pill a day for 10 days. An antibiotic. Has anyone else ever taken this? I started feeling vibrations through my body when I was still taking it, but 2 months after taking them, I still have vibrations, and now twitches. I know these can be symptoms of many things, and I am quite scared. I found a site that was hard to understand, but made it sound like others who had taken this medication have had similar reactions to it. Is there anyone out there who can help me?

I'm not a doctor, but I hope you call your doctor and make an appointment.  I would bring a printout of the patient information and side effects of avelox to the appointment.  Then explain your symptoms to the doctor.  Write them down, so you don't forget anything.

Is it Avelox?  Probably not, but who knows?  Ask if there are any tests that can be done to determine if you had a reaction to this medication.

In any event, you need to find out what is causing these sensations.  If your doctor doesn't know, ask for a referral to another doctor for a second opinion.
