Thinking of traveling in April. I wonder if it is too chilly to use the pool. Is the Atlantic rough at that time of year?

  1. Don't worry about the pool -- Miracle and her sister ships have a retractable dome that goes over the pool area during cooler weather.  Keeps the area warm, so you can always use the pool.

In general, I really like that style of ship.  It's a nice size and the steak house is great.  Some pictures of her sister ship, Pride, are here:http://www.cruisesavvy.com/node/1141

The artwork is different (better) on Miracle, but everything else is the same.

The seas in April aren't too bad, but definitely not perfect.  According to some NOAA data I have for the New Jersey coast, wave heights are over 9 feet about 7% of days in April.  This is in comparison with 14% over the winter, and 1-3% over the summer.

But if you want to read up on how to avoid sea sickness, you might want to read this:

    Hope that helps!
