  1. I have not, but I don't think you will have a problem.  The companies are interested in knowing if you have a grasp of simple mathematics operations, addition, division, multiplication, etc.  These are the skills needed to do most of the computations

    necessary for train operating guide lines (permissible speed, tons per operative brake, tons per axle of dynamic brake, etc.)  You won't need a slide rule.

    They will also be interested in how well you can read and comprehend, which is far more important than being able to negotiate a calculator.  They will be looking for these skills at a college level.
