Has anyone ever taken the helicopter to Catalina Island near los angeles,Ca???

If you did what was it like??? I mean were you able to get a good view of the island??? Did the helicopter circle around the island so you can take some good pictures?? Or was it too fast such as the helicopter quickly got there,landed and took off??? I have been on the boat myself and it was AMAZING!!! But i'm curious about the heli

yes i did, and it was all i could do to try and keep from getting airsick to focus on the horizon, or water, or whatever it was. It is still a long ride, faster than the express but as you get closer, you can get pictures but you are inside a helicopter and have windows between you. i did take a shot of a boat under us in the water ad it looked kinda small and nondescript.

umm...well i live in LA and the heli  landed in Avalon, but everyone i know says its great...u should try it!
