in the diagram there is no string, where is the string in the tampon?

I havent, but dont spend your money on something that they say will be way better when it really wont be.

I use OB's and they work great and no applicater is required :)

I tried them and there is a string, in the same place it always is, i guess that pic just didn't show it. And I didn't notice any leaks when I wore them, but I wasn't on my period long when I bought them and I haven't had to use them again yet.

I just recently got a sample of the Kotex tampons to try.  They are average with Tampax.  The string is on the inside of the plunger tube, so you don't see it at first glance, but it's there.  They work well enough and you can get a sample at www.kotex.com to see if you like them.
