Has anyone ever tried pasta with salt on it?

So I was at my friends house and we made pasta for dinner. She put salt on her pasta- just salt nothing else, and i thought that was disgusting. I didnt try it. I was wondering if anyone has ever tried that- just salt. Is it as bad as it sounds? or is it any good?

no but i have tried it with salad dressing like italian or ranch dressing and salt.

when you cook pasta in the water you are supposed to add salt for flavoring and salt just a pinch and its her decision to do do it but it is kind of strange because it should have enough salt but if she puts salt on it she probably likes the flavor of salt.

lol ow no it is not disgusting at all my pasta should be always salty ( so salty) ...what ever food that u can imagine i add up too much salt on it and it would be lovely to me becoz i like salty things..but yeah if some one doesn't like salty food or any thing then difntly she/he would feel so bad about it..

I think it'd be fine. A little dry I suppose but it would taste fine. I used to eat mine with just butter and salt.

Just with salt is a bit gross, yes, but if there's a teensy bit of salt on the pasta with salt and other stuff, it could be good!

I've never had that, doesn't sound too good at all, and it can't be that good for your health if you're having pasta often.

if there is too much salt on it, it will taste bad. but if you have just a sprinkle or two on there, it shouldnt make  to much of a difference..

Pasta without any sauce or dressing is a no no in my book. Too dry.

Pasta is like a blank canvas IMO

I know pasta is excellent with a little olive oil and some salt and pepper. But i dont think id like it without the oil, extra virgin olive oil adds great flavor1

I have tried it with salt and butter on it.  It is good, but not as good as say sauce or something.  Maybe she has never had it any other way.
