Your basically buying the rights to a seat for an event in advance for a cheaper price.  They trade like stocks though.  Good money to be made if your smart.

Yea.  I trade with them quite a lot actually.  It's an exchange for ticket futures.  Basically you choose either to buy a fantasy seat for a team or a matchup.  A fantasy seat for a team means that if you buy that if the team you pick goes to the event in question, Superbowl, World Series, Stanley Cup,..etc, you are guaranteed a seat in the section you purchased the ticket for.  A matchup is you just picking two teams to make the event but the price is a lot cheaper.  They trade in real time so if your contract appreciates then you can turn around and sell it for a profit.
