  1. Many of the leases advertised on swapalease and other such services are actually new-car leases being advertised by car dealers. These are not used-car lease takeovers, but brand new leases, the same kind of lease you would get by going directly to a dealer.

    Some of the deals might be special, but you would have no way of knowing unless you know how to evaluate leases. You could Google "how to evaluate a car lease" or "car lease evaluation."


  2. most of these leases are not good deals, monthly is high. a few show low monthly payments with high down payments. be careful with lease terms, do your homework, and if in California, the paperwork with the DMV logo is the ONLY place on signed paperwork that REALLY shows the price you are paying.
