I heard you can upgrade a regular disneyland ticket to an annual passport at disneyland but just pay the difference of the price. I'd like to do this with my 2-fer ticket when I go to disneyland next week I already used the 1st day just wondering if I can still do this on the 2nd day at california adventure.

Thanks.

  1. You can upgrade a valid Park ticket to an Annual pass.  A valid ticket is one that has not had all of it's dates used and it has not expired.

The regular tickets expire 14 days from first use, but with the 2fer you have  30 days, so in your case as long as you go back before 30 days from the first time you can still upgrade.  However, they will post date it to the date of first use.  So, for example, if you went on April 20th, and then again on May 8th you can still upgrade on May 8th.  But the pass would be valid for 1 year from April 20th.

You are given credit for what ever price you paid.  In your case it would be $66 for the Adult ticket.   Since you already used your Disneyland day you would have to upgrade before you go in the park at either Guest Relations or one of the ticket booths.  You would then go into Disneyland to have your pass processed.
