Has anyone ever heard of the College Advisor of New England, Inc. in East Longmeadow, MA, and if so, can you tell me what they were able to help you with and if it was worth the cost? If you have not used this exact one but have used a different one like it, you input would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks.

  1. Used on in high school and it turned out to be a scam.  If you search the net they highly recommend against them

  2. In my state, getting into college is very simple.  The admission standards are listed on each schools website.  If you meet them, you get in, if you don't, then you don't get in.  It's as simple as that.

Anyone who can read a transcript GPA and interpret ACT scores can figure out if they will get accepted.  If the school doesn't list their admission standards on the website it is a private school and will admit anyone with a pulse, with or without funding in place.

I'm sure it is different in more populated areas like on the coasts, but this company would never thrive in my state!  My advise is this:   If you have doubts, talk to your high school counselor (or past high school counselor) they are paid to do this for you.... by someone else!
