  1. Personally I have never used it so can't comment on that side of things

To obtain it you can see all the details on the link here http://www.amsterdamtourist.nl/en/visiti...  You can purchase in advance (and then with the printed confirmation, and then get it from (or buy on the spot from)  the tourist information office VVV at Schiphol airport, just outside A'dam Centraal Station or any of the other offices listed

Is it worth it?  Well looking at the price - if you are planning to visit a lot of attractions & use public transport, then given the price yes it's worth it. If you only plan to visit a copuple then you may be better off buying for each individually

Each attraction e.g. Anne Frank's house, Artis Zoo, museums etc all have their own websites.  So do some homework in advance - ie check what you want to visit, check the price and tot it up to see which would offer you the better deal

  2. This cards costs 33 euros for 24 hours, 43 euros for 48 hours and 53 euros for 72 hours. With the card you can visit 30 attractions for free and others with a discount. However, the website does not mention which ones you can enter for free! An average museum could cost you between 10 and 15 euros. So, whether it is good value for money depends on what you want to see. And yes, you can buy the Iamsterdam card in Amsterdam.
