Has anyone ever used audacity??

I'm thinking of Downloading it on to my computer. I'm wondering what everyone thinks of it?

Yes, I have.

It's absolutely brilliant software, considering it's free aswell you couldn't ask for more.

You need an add-on (freely available) to save in mp3 format though.  Why it can't be added into the program natively, I don't know.  But that is my only gripe.

It is easy to use & 'does what it says on the tin'.

Go for it, download it & see for yourself.

It's hard use at first, but it's a great program for editing and combining audio files!

A life saver if you making Youtube videos.

It's okay. I'm not a professional sound editor or anything, but it is fun to play around with and seems useful enough. It's free software, so you might as well try it out and see if you like it.
