After the recent debacle of the wedding list company going bust I would rather use a department store such as John Lewis or debenhams as you more likely not to have any worries with either company, especially in the current economical climate.

If you do decide to go with such a company I'd advise your guests to pay with credit card only as then they have a strong chance of claiming back their money from the credit card company should anything go wrong.

I would have to agree, the financial stability of the above companies is questionable so i would go with debenhams, john lewis, selfridges or harrods as theses are companies that have been going for years and are far more likely to guarantee your wedding list.
