  1. I'm sorry I can't help with you with the "Neon Nits" as I have had no experience with it. I can give you some other suggestions that have helped me and many others to get rid of their head lice once and for all.

Suffocation is an effective method where oil based products (i.e.: mayonnaise) are used to block the breathing holes and kill the live lice. The real trick though is to find natural products that will kill both the live lice and their eggs in one fast effective treatment.

Tea Tree oil can help repel lice because it makes humans 'invisible' to them. They are unable to distinguish us as as human beings so they stay away.

Mix 10 drops of it in with some water into a spray bottle. You can also mix it in with some conditioner. This will repel any live lice. Straighten your hair with a hot iron, this will pop any nits.

Remedies containing Neem Oil are known to be highly effective as Neem interrupts the growth and reproduction of the head louse. Neem’s insecticidal properties are widely recognized now and the oil is commonly available at your local health food store.

    Good luck.

  2. 2 fricking years??   d**n, I'm suprised they haven't eaten you up!!

I'd go to the doctor. They prescribe Kewl"  It works wonders.

You have to have all these bugs in your blankets, furniture too.  FUMAGATE

  3. try Robicomb (found at Walmart or Walgreens etc...)

    clean EVERYTHING in the house

make sure you check everyday AND RETREAT in the 7 days

as it says on the bottle whether you see any or not

there is always one you miss that restarts the whole problem

pain in the butt to have to deal with!!!

  4. We used it and it helped us.

We actually got the Ultimate Lice Kit from NitFree which included the Neon Nits, the NitFree Terminator comb, some mousse to loosen the nits from the hair and a Mint Spray.  We got ours from a company called Kleen-Free and the service (even though online) was great.

It took us 3 days to get rid of all the nits so I woudl recommend that you add in two more mousse to use each successive day and that should work.

There are two formulas for neon nits (one for dark hair and one for blonde/red hair) make sure you get the right one.

Two years is too long but, given our experience, you may be able to say that you are finally nit free in about a week.

    Hang in there!
