Has anyone ever used "rotten wood stabilizer"?

Elmer's and 3M Bondo both make it. Does it work or not? Thank you

The one I used is like a resin that hardens. You first remove the loose rotten wood and then apply the material. It is only a temporary fix.  The wood will still need to be replaced. Personally I would just replace the wood and be done with it.

heck yes! i use it all the time it makes my wodd not rotten any more! use it every day or else!!!

it works ok as a temp fix, but the wood needs to be replaced asap.
