Has anyone ever used ridegear.com???

Question

I bought some stuff online at a store called ridegear.com. I havent received my order and it hasnt even been shipped yet. I sent them an email 2 days ago, and havent received any kind of communication yet. I also tried calling today and all i get is sorry our operators are busy goodbye, or an answering machine of some guy that says hes not in. Has anyone ever purchased anything from there? And how long did it take to receive your order?

What i am finding is not good. If i go further you might get mad. I hold up right here and show you what just recently happened. See 1st link in source. Dated 3/14/2008.

First thing is first:

You should get an e-mail as per quote FAQ:

Has my order shipped?

You will receive an e-mail notification when your order ships. This will go to the e-mail address you provided us at the time you placed you order.

Because the package is delivered by USPS(which is wierd they do not use UPS or Fedex), call the vendor asking them to assign a tracking number on the package. Write it down or have them e-mail it to you. Copy and paste the number in link provided in source link below.

Keep checking e-mails diligently.

When you do get a notification count 10 business days, which are Monday through Friday excluding holidays, and look at a calender. Say for today the 19TH....i.e. It would ship out the 21st and receive it by the 5TH.

I checked the registry and amazingly this site has been online since 1999. With only this one report so far. The thing is, the registry is done Aug,2008. That doesn't mean they are out of business; just means they have to re-register(if the site decides to)

Keep after those e-mails.....  recontact them using the Helpdesk link. Do not let the issue go past the 10 business days..
