Has anyone ever used the Berlitz "Italian Premier" CD-ROM language program?

Berlitz has been around for decades, but I can find only one lame online review of this CD-ROM program.

Here's the link to the set on Amazon -- complete with that ineffective and unhelpful review:

Do you know anyone who has used these Berlitz programs? If so, how effective are they?

  1. I have used Berlitz, but for Japanese.

It is quite effective. My only criticism is that Berlitz uses annoying American accents, and me being Australian, didn't like this all too much.

I learnt a lot through Berlitz Japanese, but I'm not sure about Berlitz Italian.

  2. My mother in law took the Berlitz Spanish course.  She didnt benefit much from it.

  3. Just listen to the old "DeFranco Family" music...

It's the "Italian Version" of Donnie & Marie...

  4. I have no idea about the program but, if you ever have any Q's or confusion I've been living in Italy for the past 8 years if you ever need any help :)
