  1. NO on the turtle wax and a definite No on the olive oil- i work with leather- you will end up staining it or turning it a deeper shade than it already is- the easiest way to clean it is baby wipes! check out the link below for details

  2. I use cheap dry on shoe polish for getting rid of marks, but not turtle wax.  You will slide off.  Just a warm wash cloth with water will sheen it up a bit for the day.  Then buy some leather restorer at the locat store.  There are wipes available, also.

    Good Luck.

  3. Why would you use Olive oil... uh, ok, your couch will be sticky and smelly.

Use a tiny bit of turtlewax and see how it turns out on a small circle.

  4. I don't think it would be a good Idea because car wax is meant for paint on a car and not leather. you may ruin your couch but you may also find it to be an excellent cleaner. it is your call. I would read the wax can to see if it says something like "DO NOT use on leather"

  5. you first need to determine what kind of leather you have (N=nubuck, suede, P=protected, A=aniline) these different types of leather will determine your cleaning meathod and can usually be found on the deck of your sofa or chair.  90% of all leather furniture is protected (P) and it cleans very easily considering it is just a painted surface, and the leather is only on the parts that touch the body, so the sides and back of your sofa or chair is usally vinyl, and you can clean that with whatever you would like.
