Has anyone ever volunteered for 'right to play'?

Right to play is an international development organisation that uses sports to aid community development and education.

I am applying to volunteer with them for 12 months in Thailand and I ws just curious if anyone could share their experiences with me. Also if someone has worked with them, how was the application process? It seems very thorough for a volunteer post. Any comments are much appreciated!

  1. They have an excellent reputation, and I'm impressed with their postings for volunteer staff -- the tasks seem very definite and very well-thought out.

Look on Google for blogs by people volunteering with Right to Play. You might even ask them to let you know of any of their volunteers who are blogging or have blogged about their experience.

*If* you get this placement, email me -- I'm doing an article on volunteering abroad and would like to interview you. Click on my icon to email me.
