  1. I did one time.  I picked a friend up at the airport and she hadn't eaten, so we stopped at a restaurant.  We were seated, got our drinks, and our orders taken fairly quickly, but after over an hour, my food still hadn't arrived.  My friend got hers, and she ate, but I never got my food, and we never saw a waitress to get our bill.  We looked around for awhile, and we stood at the podium where you are supposed to pay for at least 15 minutes, but nobody came up there, so finally we just left.  I don't regret it either.

  2. i used to work for a large hotel company who has an heiress who like to appear in home made adult entertainment and had to pay from my meagre pay whenever anyone left without paying. so shame on you!!!

  3. My friend doesnt end up paying when he goes in Macdonalds (different ones) he always oders a big mac large fries and coke, he eats 1/2 to 3/4 of the big mac then complains to the manager saying it doesnt taste right, he even invites the manager to taste it, they always decline, and they always offer him a full refund.  He leaves having eaten most of the meal feeling full.

  4. You should regret it. It's no different than going to a store and shoplifting. even worse, your server may have had to pay your tab. So not only is she/he out the money for your bill but about 4% of that check total is given to bus boys, hostesses and bartenders. So they have to pay that on top of everything else. Dining and dashing is an arrestable offence.

  5. i have once, simply because they didn't seem to want us to pay.  We finished our meal, and asked for the bill, and it never arrived so asked again and waited another 10 minutes and still nothing, so thought we would start to leave and see if they took the hint, they just ignored us so we left.  Its their own fault, so i don't feel guilty at all

  6. The only time I've eaten a meal and not paid for it was when the restaurant comped the meal because it was for some reason or another unacceptable. My parents are in the restaurant business and I hope no one does it to them.

  7. under uk law you don't have to actually pay for your meal, just leave your name and address and why you don't think you should pay. Its then up to the restaurant owner to get the money through civlil means and unless its over a few hundred quid, it wouldn't be worth it for them.

  8. LOL, no but sometimes I *almost* do, by accident, without thinking.  When that happens, I think to myself "d**n, I hope I've never actually done that!" because it seems like a possibility in those moments.

  9. yes 1 time when I was about 14.We was so nervous we didn't even eat the dang food!My friend was puking the whole time we was running and we had an angry Denny's employee chasing us down.We didn't get caught but I do feel bad about it and never did it again

  10. i did once when i was younger. i don't think u should bother regretting it though. it's over and no one got hurt. 4get it.

    oh wait...i did it twice!

  11. i dined and dashed a couple of times in my youth, i would never do it now, but it isnt exactly one of my big regrets in life

  12. Happened on a blind date! Me and this girl, so engrossed in one another, we just got up and left. We got to a bar five minutes up the road, had a drink and realised what we'd done. I dashed back to the restaurant and settled the bill. The lady owner was astonished that i'd gone back to settle the debt. On the way back out the door she said, "I knew, you didn't look the 'type'."

I went back to the girl. We had a good night.

Stayed with me for years. I was 22 when it happened, i'm now 41

  13. So your a thief, you should be ashamed.

Go back to the restaraunt, tell them you stole from them, you need to pay for those meals.

  14. Ahh dining and dashing...done it a few times...what a rush and good times too....

  15. No I have not . But I have seen some teenage boys sitting at a table next to us do it . The girl was left crying as she would have to pay for it at the end of the night . I saw the other waiters / waitresses trying to comfort her . She seemed younge herself

At least you have learned your lesson and regret it

  16. Once, on purpose and with a deal of fuss and without regretting it!

It was not so much the cockroach on the wall, it was the way the waiter flicked it off, into the salad, then picked it out with his fingers. And he had dirty nails.

  17. me and my girlfriend went to a resteraunt in essex we had a meal nice too we intended to pay but no one came with the bill so we simply walked out  cant believe the waitress had to pay or we would never of done it  then we went to spain self catering next to the apartments was the hotel where you could buy meals they assumed we were staying in the hotel so we got a weeks free food   no regrets

  18. no i have never but as im a waitress its not very nice if your guests walkout on you.i have had to pay a bill off of 100quid because a table walked wen i had left my section to go and wash my hands they hadnt even finished there meal so remember the nt time you have a youthful moment please think of yor actions and what they do to others.....................................

  19. Depends on the situation in my opinion. On one occassion I was in a restaurant and the food was undercooked. I tried to (politely) complain and was given a mouthful of abuse for my trouble so I walked out without paying. The 'Waiter' wasn't even prepared to get the manager. I had every intention of paying when I went in there of course.
