  1. Working in a doctors office myself I understand how patients feel when they have to wait for a doctor. Most of the patients my doctor see understands, some don't but there are many reasons for a doctor to run behind schedule

    1. When a patient calls to schedule a appointment they might just say Knee pain and then come in with 3 other concerns and some concerns you can't let go (Chest Pain)

    2.  Elderly patients take more time then most of us.

    3. Emergencies do happen.

What I suggest is try to be the first appointment of the morning or back from lunch.

At our office we let patients know when they check in to their appointment when our doctors are running behind.  So the patient knows.

  2. Yep AND I demanded my co-pay be refunded.  I also told the doc why I was leaving and I found another doc who didn't make me wait for over an hour.  Its rude and disrespectful.

  3. yes!! you should stop going to that doctor and get your money back!

  4. I did once.....and he got me back
