  1. It is a total good time, enjoy. Be sure and wear a life preserver if the river is deep, particularly if you have poor swimming skills. It is great fun usually.

  2. youll have a great time.  if you go in a river wear those beach shoes, rocks hurt your feet with out them.  Rafting is fun to until you get threw out the boat like i did.  But it was fun

  3. Tubing is great in a warm water river. You wear a swim suit and a PFD. The current is slow. Some bring six-packs...Don't neglect good canvas shoes and sun protection.

  4. Soo much fun! Definitely wear a life jacket though, especially if the river has a current, as most do. I would definitely try it out if I were you ... you'll have a blast!

  5. Floating down a river is a great way to spend a summer day. Since you are fairly far north, the water will probably be a bit chilly, but it is a great activity. Make sure you where tons of sunscreen and reapply as needed. Keep in mind that you will be beneath the sun all day and pack accordingly.

    Have fun!!

  6. Tubing is great fun.  It's usually most fun with a group of folks, and someone who sort of knows the river, so you know the best/safest spots to stop off for snack breaks, etc.  Be sure you're prepared with sunscreen (The sun reflecting off the water will also hit you under the chin, the bottom of your nose, and places you might not otherwise have to hit.  Don't neglect them).  You may also want to wear a T-shirt to help shield your upper body a bit (both against the sun and to protect from chaffing agains the tube).

    ENJOY!

  7. It's really fun and very relaxing.

    Wear lots of sunscreen!

    Tips:

Tie your tubes together that way you dont end up gettin seperated down the river.

Rent an extra tube, with a botttom, to put a cooler in.

You should bring your lunches and plenty to drink.

When ya get hungry find a place on the side of the river.

    It's so much fun.

    Hope I could Help.
