Has anyone ever went skiing or boarding in Europe?

Like the Swiss Alps? Where did you go and how was it? How pricy? I want to plan a trip.

Skiing in Europe is great but there are so many destinations and new destinations opening all the time. Check out some of the links with regards to Europe - Bulgaria has opened up recently and continues to be good value for money. You can hire equipment or buy your own - good if your of average size/build.

Lech in Austria is a great destination - I've also been to Chamonix in France borders near Italy - so lovely. It depends on what you want from your skiing holiday. Do check the links and enjoy!

Yeah I went to Andorra.

I don't think it was THAT pricey, but getting transport to and from the ski place was a bit of a fuss.

I went there and its not relli a bad price around $700

and if u go its gonna be the best trip of your life!!!

It is a little cheaper if you go to Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which is a small village in the German Alps just south of Augsburg, close to Munich.  The slopes are where the winter olympics were held (cant remember what year)  The atmosphere of the town is really nice, the skiing is wonderful, and you can get room and board for a lot less than in the more well known Swiss villages.  The accomodations are amazing.  Also the scenery is amazing and public transportation, cable cars, trolleys make it easy to get around.

i went to austria back in february

it was AMAZING!!!

would recommend to anyone

though i went with my school (it cos £500 then we had to buy all our own clothes etc - but not skis or poles) but yeh sorry cant help with price
