Has anyone ever won a workmans comp case?

and the money they make you put in a seperate account for future medical reasons --ever been watched to see how you use it---

  1. Sure, I've seen lots of people win.  

    No, you don't have to put that money in a different account.  But if you spend it on a vacation, then it's not there to pay your medical bills, and you have to pay them yourself.

I don't know your circumstances but I will warn you to be very cautious.  I used to work as a private investigator and let me tell you how many idiots blew their own settlements by doing activities they were not supposed to be doing (like heavy lifting with a back injury, etc.).  Of course, these people were filing false claims in the first place, but you get my drift.  If you have a legitimate case, follow all of the instructions they (ins. co. and MDs) give you.  If you are just trying to get money, you've been fairly warned that you will get caught.  Not worth the risk.

  3. you can use it for anything but saving it and buying a better house or paying off bills is better and saveing some of it
