Has anyone ever worked at Applebees or UPS?

I am thinking of applying to one of these places to work for. Please tell me your experiences with these two companies? and if it is a good place to work for part time or not. (I am a college student looking to make money)

UPS pays well and offers benefits to part time employees. Plus you'e working second or third shift so it wont effect school. They also promote from within. It is a union shop making it darn near impossible to be fired. Very physical job so you get in shape. I worked there for 7 years and wish I never quit.

I worked a UPS, the pay and benefits are good. But don't be fooled by part-time hours. Yes, hours are part-time, but the workload is very physical. I would leave there feeling as if I worked an 8 hour shift. But, if you're into physical work the pay and benefits are good.

my boyfriend is in school and he works for FedEx. you will probably start off as a package handler. its usually night work or early morning but he went to school at night or early morning. UPS is a great company and they have great benefits. my boyfriend stayed with FedEx as a package handler for 2 years and we recently promoted to QA and makes a lot more money. I'd go with UPS over a resturant anyday
