Has anyone ever worked for "teach America" in Oakland California or the East Bay?

I'm looking to earn a better living and was thinking of teaching. I have a degree in Fine Arts... do you know anything about this program? test, trainings etc...

I would love to get info about teaching and or learning how to teach music.

Do you mean Teach America or do you mean Teach for America?  I've worked with different teachers who are TFA teachers, but if it's a different program, then I I don't know anything about it.

I am in Los Angeles and have seen quite a few tfa kids pass through my school.

It is a very selective program - with heavy interview requirements. There are tons of candidates for the few spots available - for example there are only 200 tfa kids in the bay area.
