Has anyone ever worked for the travel company YTB?

I went to a meeting yesterday with a person who works with YTB. This is a travel company. They sale vacation packages, rental cars, and hotels. I guess they are almost like a travel agent. They try to hire people to try to get people to book trips through their website. So, I guess I would ask people i know to check the rates out on my website to see if I could beat it and they would book with me. The profit is split 40/60 between the company YTB/ and me. If I recruit other people to work for me I get a share of their sales (pyramid). They want $449.49 to start. Do you guys think this is a scam are legit. I think if you google YTB Travel you can find their website. The guy told me they were in News Week as one of up and coming companies.

I have worked for YTB for 2 years now and love it.  You are an actual travel agent & have alot of benefits that come with this company. I use my card alot for the perks....car rentals, hotels....vacations---that's really nice.  You should do it!! Totally worth it :)
