And what did you think of the thesis that black equitorial Africans routinely sailed across the Atlantic and greatly influenced the Maya, the Aztecs, and they became the Olmecs?

  1. that is a new one on me...never heard of whatever it is you are talking about.  Columbus did find inhabitants in the Americas, but they were what we now know as the Native Americans of a somewhat Asian decent from thousands of years back descendants

  2. I have not heard of "THEY CAME BEFORE COLUMBUS" but now that you have made me aware of its existance, I will look it up on Amazon.com and see about ordering it.

However, I HAVE read several other really interesting books on that and similar subjects.

"AMERICA BC", "SAGA AMERICA" and "BRONZE AGE AMERICA" by Barry Fell

"URIEL'S MACHINE" by Knight and Lomas

"FINGERPRINTS OF THE GODS" by Graham Hancock

  3. what are you talking about.  I doubt Africans came before Columbus.

  4. If there was sustained contact between Sub-Saharan Africa and Meso-America, then....

    1.  Why didn't Amerindians contract African diseases like malaria?  Records from colonial Brazil document that once introduced, these diseases were just as devastating to the Amerind populations as Eurasian diseases were.

    2.  Why didn't Africans contract Amerindian diseases like syphilis?  This disease devastated  every culture with relaxed sexual mores that encountered it.

    3.  Where did all the African ships go?  This last point is decisive.  Sea travel was by far the fastest and most efficient form of travel the pre-industrial world had.  Furthermore, the ability to travel by sea also meant the ability to ship goods by sea.  Export and import of foreign luxury goods was the most lucrative business of the pre-industrial world.  To restate then the third point:

3b. Why would the Africans have given up their ships if they ever had them?

Answer:  They wouldn't, they didn't, they never had seagoing vessals to begin with.

    Sorry, but it's the Truth.

  5. no but there were other explorers that were here..

  6. How did they sail again? On their tom toms?

  7. Oh, another Columbus basher.  Yes, let's re-write history, and try to falsely claim something else for the Africans.   They "routinely sailed " to the Americas.....and yet nobody knew about it, no records were kept, and this is a "thesis."   Were they also the first discovers of  the outermost planet, and predate Pythagorus and his theorem by a few hundred years?  This is hilarious.

  8. Who cares, Columbus never even discovered America, he was tyrant and an *** to his men.  He discovered the bahamas.
