I'm getting a new audio CD system for my car. Has anyone ever used bestbuy or Circuit City to install? If so, was the installation professional and adequate? If not where would be the best place to go to have it done professionally?

  1. yea, they are both professional, they use the same faceplates and wireing harnesses as the audio shops. plus they will guarentee their work and even put the factory radio back in for free if you ever sell your car.  However, some small car audio shops will put your stereo in for less then $40 so check around first. check your yellow pages for local car audio shops.

  2. Well I think that Best Buy is WAY over priced for their products and installing, and most likely the people who do their installing aren't probably trained but Idk.

If you go to a ABC Warehouse they have good prices on there products and its free installation if you buy from them, they can also make you deals. I've taken a couple of vehicles there and they have installed cd players, and an amp and they've done a VERY nice job. At least the ABC Warehouse around me did a good job, but every place has different installers so Idk, the guy at this one was VERY good and knew what he was doing, and gave me a great deal.

  3. my friend went to CC cause we thought they new.

wired his subs up wrong and blew his amp

    they reimbursed him but still...

  4. They are hacks, seek out an independent car audio shop.
