Question:

Has anyone experienced a numb upper leg after surgery?

I had surgery 10 days ago and the top of my left thigh is still numb! A vein running down my leg had to be clamped during the surgery - could this have anything to do with it? Would appreciate any help.

  1. The numbness comes from the fact you had an incision and upon them doing it they had to cut trough some of muscles and tissues . The vein being clamped was to stop you from hemorrhaging and dying on the surgery table . The numbness will clear up with time but may never recover 100 % as before . I hope you get well soon and have a great day .
