  1. The internet can be wonderful and a nightmare.  If you are bullied that are blockers in these chat rooms and another good idea is to make up an identity (fake name, fake school) and only let your closest friends know who you are.  But just make sure your friends are your REAL friends

  2. I've never experienced it myself, but if you are, you first need to remove yourself from the situation, then tell a parent or another trusted adult. You have to be careful on the internet. Don't take chances!

  3. Hello J...

The only way you can be cyber-bullied is by going to the site where it is happening.

Example:  I don't get bullied on Yahoo Answers... Don't get bullied on eBay... etc.

I know that is an exaggeration but if you are logging onto a site where someone or some people are being ugly to you... it is your responsibility to NOT log onto it.  That is pretty simple.

If it is a site like My Space...  you may just have to delete that account and start all over again.   Don't use your real name... don't go to the same contacts...  don't check in with the same "friends"  completely begin like you have never been on the site before.   If it happens again,  I would say that it is because of something you are doing wrong.

My daughter has a My Space and has never been bullied once.  Perhaps it is the people you are allowing onto your page.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you for reading.
