I am currently on Sprintec 28, I switched to this after the shot (Depo-Provera) made my hair fall out....I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this with sprintec, if so what if anything did you switch to?????

  1. yaz is a really good birth control, it kept my weight down no acne and no moodiness.

  2. Rarely, birth control can cause headaches, especially at first during the initial adjustment period. If you haven't been on it for at least 3-4 months give it some time. If it continues, sometimes switching to a low dose pill may help. Just be sure it isn't just stress induced.

  3. I haven't been on Sprintec, but I've been through enough birth control pill prescriptions to know about side effects!  Headaches are normally pretty common because of the hormone levels...if the headaches worsen or become persistant, I'd go and talk to your doctor.  I know Alesse gave me a constant headache for the entire month I was on it and Yasmin gave me migraines (at which I had never had before in my life).

EDIT: thanks for all those thumbs down for all who answered the question! (I know this could have been anyone, but there seems to be a lot of thumbs down lately for no reason...everyone here has posted a good answer).  Believe it or not, after discontinuing the use of a certain bcp and then continuing again after a small break can cause different side effects (I don't know why but I have heard of this happening many times).  Just talk with your doctor when you go in to visit :)
