Has anyone found their birth father based on info given by birth mom?

Yes just made contact with my birth father after almost 30yrs. I made contact and it was hard as I have put it off since I was 13 but it is all good now but I know I am one of the lucky ones.

She hadn't seen him since the day i was born, but when I called her (21 years later) she offered his name AND looked his tele number up for me.

I spoke to both my parents on the same day!!!!!

Actually, for me, my mom was with me when I spoke to and saw my sperm donor for the first time.  I chose not to have anything to do with him or his other two daughters.  I do have a relationship with my mom and her other two daughters.

I found my ndad very easily based on the info my nmother gave me. We have a great relationship and we was thrilled to become an instant grandpa too!

He's your relative and you don't have to ask anyone's permission to contact him

yes ive met mine,but he ended up to be a jerk.If youre mom gives you info about youre dad contact him right away!!!

I met the birth father of my adopted children but he has doubt as to weather he is the father but he refused to pay for a DNA test. I have a picture of him to show the children some day if they wish to see it. Also of the birth mother as well. I maintain contact with the birth  mother through the adoption agency

My mother gave me his name and I contacted him myself. He never even knew I existed but was thrilled that I found him and we have a great relationship.
