  1. I actually was considering voting for McCain before all the lies were spread about Obama, now I am considering Obama and definitely will NOT vote for McCain.

  2. Yes, there are a few mindless dorks who'll vote for that ticket.  Seems Repugnicans just LOVE known crooks!  Palin is under investigation for official corruption, and it isn't the first time the little s***k has been caught misbehaving!

  3. Haha you gotta love "Jon" who would rather have an inexperienced president than an inexperienced VP. LOL@you.

btw, She is a governor while Obama is a senator who hardly shows up to work.

  4. Looks like to me that polls will now move in Obama's direction.

  5. Nope.  That's still a lame ticket.

  6. First of all thinking that a president will change anything in our country and or that your vote really even matter is naive and even further so believe that a vice president matters is even more ludicrous.

  7. I am still going third party. Its the only way that I know that might send a message to these 2 idiot parties!!

  8. from what i know so far i will vote for mccain so that in four years i can vote for her

  9. Is that a joke?

  10. Not me.  Sticking with Obama.  I'm independent.

  11. If you were considering McCain, I'd imagine this might drive you away...since that Obama is so inexperienced and all, why would the WISE and EXPERIENCED McCain pick a young, inexperienced candidate knowing his health problems and relatively old age?

  12. No way, if anything this makes me dislike McCain and it shows me that he's a scheming, conniving(sp) snake just like Bush!! If he gets in office say hello to another 4-8 years of idiocracy! and honestly, McCain most likely won't still be alive by the end of his term and who REALLY thinks that a woman w/even less experience than Obama can run this country?! I'm all about having a woman in office, but the only woman that's anywhere near qualified for running this country is Hillary!

  13. That just goes to show how low we have sunk as a nation.  McCain was forced to pick somebody that most people never heard of until yesterday, just so he can hope to get some of Obama's female supporters to jump ship.

How come with Palin it's a "lack of experience" but with Obama it's " a change " ??

  14. I was pretty committed to going third party but I am seriously considering McCain now.  I like what I've read about Palin so far..

  15. Quite the opposite.

I was "on the fence" until today. This ladys lack of experience and credentials aren't enough to make me want to vote for the Republicans.

    Biden/Obama '08

  16. Well, I went from die hard Obama fan to not caring too much who wins! I feel like I will have won either way.

Pro-choice and accessible health care, alternative energy sources and not having the US's name dragged through the mud by torturing people etc. still matter to me though, so likely will still vote democratic. Just won't be devastated and feeling hopeless if they lose. At least a female VP will be progress, and she is middle-of-the-road. Plus McCain is old and likely won't survive 2 terms. She has a good shot at the presidency. 90% approval in Alaska is impressive too.

So if the republicans win we are still completely screwed for now, but it won't kill all hope!

Vice-presidents are in a position to learn to be president. VP's actually are responsible for very little. Kennedy hated his VP, and he was picked only for votes. Of course his VP also became president for awhile.

  17. When I first heard the news, I thought, "that sly, old dog -- he's going to woo a ton of women with this choice" and I actually had more respect for his political saavy.

But then, when I got into work and read who she is, I realized that McCain is indeed a senile, idiot.  Our nation is facing tons of serious problems what with wars, health care reform, skyrocketing debt, the mortgage crisis, the economy in peril, etc. and I'm supposed to believe this woman is qualified to be a heartbeat away from the presidency?

I find it impossible to believe there are not hundreds of women conservatives in politics who have more experience and would have been a better choice. Frankly, I'm befuddled by why McCain would pick the Mayor of freakin' Wasilla, Alaska!

  18. Choosing Palin will cause even conservatives, at least those not involved in big oil, to run away.     McCain is showing his true colors:  wave the flag in everyones face whenever they ask a question that he doesn't want to answer,  then pick a big oil VP.  Just what America needs (sarcasm)

  19. Me!

    McCain/Palin 2008!

  20. Palin is awesome.  Look at her approval rating and see that she not only SAYS, she DOES.  She has executive experience.  I've seen her talk about energy on video and I like what she has to say.  I was a McCain supporter and a Palin supporter before he picked Palin.  the fact that he picked Palin energizes me!  I'm very excited for this ticket!

  21. Libertarian voting republican now.

  22. I hope not.  Please vote for Obama,  he seems to actually want to make things more fair for everyone.

  23. I know a few friends who are seriously considering now joining in voting McCain and Palin.

  24. I have.

I liked hearing "she" is the person for the job. I'm over the men.

She seems like a bold politician. And her husband is all kinds of hot.

I will not be casting my vote for McCain. I will be voting for Palin, who will hopefully be able to run for president after her stint as VP...

  25. At one point I was considering McCain. Now I am completely convinced that McCain is the wrong choice. He is just doing this to get votes and is not taking into consideration how this will affect the country if he wins. This is a really bad choice as VP.
